Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Concert on the Prairie featuring an evening of Chamber Music!
Monday, March 27, 2023, doors opened at 6:30pm and the concert was from 7-8:30pm.
- We enjoyed the wonderful string quintet featuring:
- Swang Lin, violin
- Amy Faires, violin
- Liesl-Ann de Villiers, viola
- Desiree Elsevier, viola
- Craig Leffer, cello
They played a selection of works popular in the 18th and 19th century, set off beautifully by the perfect acoustics in the Historic Frankford Church.

IV. Adagio – Allegro
Brahms:
String Quintet No. 2 in G Major, Op. 111
I. Allegro non troppo, ma con brio
II. Adagio
III. Un poco allegretto
IV. Vivace, ma non troppo presto
The group played two sets and the rain stopped just in time for us to have refreshments served during intermission behind the church.
